One useful action.
A journey that gets people there.

Whether customers are booking a service, uploading a video or managing an account, the product should make the important task easy to find and complete.

Does it need to be an app?

The answer depends on your audience, device requirements and how often people will use the product. We’ll work through that decision before committing your budget.

A mobile app

Explore this when your experience relies on repeat use, camera or device capabilities, push notifications, or carefully designed mobile interactions.

  • iOS and Android requirements
  • Permissions and device testing
  • Store submission and release planning

A mobile-friendly web product

Explore this when easy access through a link, broad reach or occasional use matters more than an installed experience.

  • Access without an app download
  • Responsive customer journeys
  • Browser capability assessment

From footage to something worth sharing.

BALLIFY · SPORTS VIDEO

A connected experience beyond the screen.

Ballify brings mobile video uploads, AI-generated highlights, performance analytics and sharing into a basketball-focused product.

The work connects a clear user journey with the processing and services behind it. That connection is central to a useful app.

Plan beyond the prototype.

A clickable design is one milestone. A usable release also needs the less visible work that supports the experience.

  • Accounts, permissions and secure access
  • Backend APIs and existing system connections
  • Loading, empty, error and offline states where required
  • Testing across agreed devices and operating systems
  • Store assets, privacy information and submission support
  • Crash monitoring, maintenance and an update plan

From first interaction to release.

  1. 01

    Define the core action

Agree the audience, the product’s purpose and the smallest useful set of journeys.

  2. 02

    Prototype on a device

Test navigation and key interactions before committing to the full build.

  3. 03

    Build the whole experience

Develop the app and required backend, then test real scenarios on agreed devices.

  4. 04

    Prepare and release

Support store submission or web release, and agree monitoring and maintenance.

Before you build an app.

Have a question specific to your project? Let’s talk it through.

Tell us about your project
01Can you build for both iOS and Android?

Yes. We can plan an app for both platforms and assess an appropriate shared or platform-specific approach based on features, performance needs and device integrations.

02Can the app use our existing backend?

We can review the available APIs, authentication and data model. Some projects can reuse the existing backend; others need additional services or changes to support the mobile experience.

03Will you help with App Store and Google Play submission?

Submission support can be included in the scope, including release preparation and responding to review feedback. Store accounts, required disclosures and policies need to be agreed. Approval and review timing are controlled by the stores.

04How much does an app cost, and how long will it take?

The user journeys, platforms, device capabilities, backend and testing requirements determine the estimate. We’ll help prioritise a first release and provide a proposal after clarifying those requirements.

05Can you improve an existing app?

We can begin with a review of the current code, backend, designs and known issues. Access and technical condition determine whether a targeted improvement or a broader rebuild is the better approach.

06What happens after launch?

We can agree support for defects, operating system changes, monitoring and further features. Ongoing work and third-party costs should be set out in the project agreement.

What should your app help people do?

Start with the audience and the action that matters. We’ll discuss the product and the path to launch.
